    1. Susan Sallis does a good job of weaving the intricacies of several families into a compelling story of two identical twin girls born in southern England during WWII. Their twin-ness keeps them together as well as pulls them apart throughout their adult life as they both love the same man.

    2. Not one of my favourite books of Susan sallis, but just OK. I found it very strange, and sometimes I felt very disconnected from the characters. I found the behaviour of the twins very strange indeed.
