    1. booksforcompanyThis is a very quick read, at only around 17 pages it took me around 10 minutes to read. I think Seeing For The First Time definitely has potential and that the second book in this series could make for an interesting read, if a number of things are done.I think Ana definitely needs to be developed as in around 17 pages she definitely didn’t have time to become a proper character and be unique within herself. Because l didn’t really get enough time with her l don’t feel l ca [...]

    2. 'Seeing for the First Time' is a short story rooted in fantasy and supernatural lore. Author Nicole Soltack's unique take on the supernatural makes 'Seeing for the First Time' a worth-while, well written e-read. As far as characters go, we don't meet many of them. I liked the character of 'Ana', although I would have liked to have learned more about her. Storytelling-wise, 'Seeing for the First Time' was a pretty quick, action packed read. It wasn't too heavy in action'y bits or lengthy details. [...]

    3. As usual, I like to be very critical and technical with my reviews.-I found at least three typos - one missing a letter, and two that just didn't make sense.-Punctuation issues are always present in books so that's a given.-"GRAM" was overused. It was in every sentence in the first page alone and three times on the first paragraph.-Grams didn't talk much like a Grandma.-I guess since it's a short story, the characters weren't as developed, but Ana just seemed so naive. I mean, really? Go to a se [...]

    4. reviewed by urbanfantasyinvestigations.bloSEEING FOR THE FIRST TIME is the first of a series of 6 short stories titled What you see is what you get. It is an extremely fast read at just 17 pages. The characters definitely were likable and the story was catching. Ana is strong willed and didn't freak out completely and lose her head when she had all the reason to. I had an issue in the beginning, Ana goes from saying her Gram is completely crazy in one paragraph and just a couple paragraphs later [...]

    5. Seeing for the First Time is a short eBook, at only 17 pages, however, after those 17 pages you're left wanting to read more. Just like the main character, Ana, you're introduced to the world of paranormal by her grandmother, and together you learn that there are different types of seers, each type being able to see a different breed of paranormal beings. From fairy seers, to werewolf seers, and Ana's Gram even mentions unicorn seers. I'm not going to mention any other types though because then [...]

    6. Getting kids eager to read is more difficult than ever. I have two children of my own. One LOVES to read, and the other would rather eat belly button lint. Now I came across a new series designed to interest kids from the get go. Nicole Zoltack had that in mind when she created her Seeing for the First Time. The characters were instantly likeable as well as the storyline. Between the werewolves and fairies, my kids were hooked.Without giving away any teasers, the MC is a girl who is thrust into [...]

    7. In only seventeen short pages Zoltack's Seeing For the First Time packed a punch. Ana has spent every summer with her crazy Gram. This summer is going to be different. Ana finds out that her family has a secret that keeps her family in two worlds. As the family secret is revealed she sees that her Gram isn't crazy after all and she is thrust into a new world filled with creatures both good and evil.Zoltack's story is well described containing a refreshing angle in the paranormal genre. If you lo [...]

    8. I was given a free copy of this story in exchange for an honest review. This was a fun quick read. Ana is the daughter of Werewolf hunter and granddaughter to a fairy seer. Yes a theme here is the family are a family of seers. They see different things and Ana never knew any of this as she never saw anything before. Until one day at her Grams she saw a hint of the fairies. So she goes on a mission to see if she could see anything and boy did she find what her seer powers are. In away I thought sh [...]

    9. This is an easy, quick read for younger audiences. Ana comes across as a kid with smarts. The fantastical element in the story certainly is present, though I would've liked to have seen more done with the fairies instead of vampires, since the fairy-filled book cover intrigued me. The fast pace might deter some readers and feel rushed, and there are a few typos, but if you're looking for something light to read that might give you a jolt of pace and action, you can take a look at "Seeing for the [...]

    10. Nicole Zoltack’s Seeing for the First Time gives a taste of myths, legends, and the people who see them. Ana believes her Gram to be crazy, but she soon discovers her family’s secret: they are seers of magical creatures. Ana can’t wait to find out what she sees. Ms. Zoltack hints at an entire fantastical world within our own, and she makes this world and characters come to life in such a short story. I look forward to what will come next in the What You See Is What You Get series.

    11. This story about a seer was very short but long enough to make me want to read more. I really didn't want the story to end so soon when I just got into knowing a little about my characters. It was really sudden and vivid. Fast paced and very detailed.
