    1. The book Cogan’s Woods was a good book and I really enjoyed reading it. It wasn’t a very difficult book to read but I connected with the book because I hunt with my dad just like Ellis did with his father. The book showed how a father and son can bond with each other through the shared passion of hunting.     2. While Ron Ellis is no Gordon MacQuarrie, I really enjoyed this book. The relationship between a father and son develops and deepens with each excursion to Cogan's Woods. The description of the land and its inhabitants is beautiful. A quick and satisfying read.
