    1. -Moth spent way too much time inner monologuing, which would have been fine if her inner monologue had been interesting, but it rarely was.-It was never revealed why Moth's dad hated her and had a bad relationship with her when he had a normal loving relationship with Moth's sisters, I was more interested in that and Moth's family dynamics than anything else. -Really hated Caitlin, mostly because of the way everyone fawned over her and mollycoddled her. I didn't see what was so great about her, [...]

    2. From Karen Mahoney's Blog (03/18/14):Finally: HUNTING THE DARK, the delayed second Moth book, is definitely still being published – some readers have expressed concern about this. I’m afraid it won’t be out for quite some time, and I’ll confirm the new release date as soon as I possibly can. This new delay was out of my hands. Things just happen in publishing, sometimes, especially when companies merge and lists change. But do be reassured: more Moth to come!

    3. I have waited 2 years and how I still had so much interest in the book, I don't know. I guess it maybe because Moth/Marie is different. I've always wanted to read a vampire/human romance where the girl was the bloodsucker for once. I rated Hunting the Dark less than I did Falling to Ash in 2013 because I understand the rating system better now. I consider Hunting the Dark to be better than its sequel though. Jace and Moth parts were my favourite. He's funny and she's sassywhen was the last time [...]

Though it’s not going to be a favorite, I still enjoyed it. There’s a lot of inner voice ‘emoting’, almost too much. I understand that we’re getting the story through her POV, but we don’t need so much ’Oh, dear me. I’m a vampire. How am I ever going to cope?” And some of the time skips toward the end were odd and involved th [...]

    5. This book was really fantastic! Loving being with Marie/Moth, and this world was really great, and we learned more, and yeah, it was a really great read!
