    1. 12/20/15 - Re-readI actually didn't even remember reading this one the first time, so it obviously not something that stuck with me, but cute and clean. 12/4/12 - This was a super short novelette. A fun Christmas read if you don't have a lot of time and trying to fit a book in. Moral Note: Talk of unfaithfulness in marriage. Otherwise pretty clean.

    2. It started out really good but then towards the end it seemed like the author just wanted to finish it quick. The ending definitely could've been better. Overall not a bad story.

    3. What a sweet, delightful romantic short story Alicia and Roy Street have written. It has heightened my good feelings this Christmas season. The main character, Ellie Dean, is an unemployed single mom who meets Reece Madsen while taking her son Brandon to see Santa at a tree farm. Brandon has run off through the rows of trees and Reece guides Ellie to the shop where Brandon is enjoying hot chocolate and watching Christmas decorations being made. Ellie is very independent and does not wish to be g [...]

    4. When Ellie visits his Christmas tree farm, Reece's mind-blowing sense of recognition kicks in the moment their eyes meet. He recognizes her from the girl who mysteriously saved his life in a car accident five years previous. And because he lived through that experience, he's changed his whole way of life. Now that Reece has found her, he can't let her get away. His crowding her becomes instrumental in her losing a job she can't afford and he quickly offers her one at the Christmas shop. Not only [...]

    5. This short story was a nice, enjoyable, read. Ellie is a single mom who does not trust men. After working at a tree farm, she realizes that not all men are as bad as she originally thought. It’s a sweet, quick, happily-ever-after ending story that is just what is needed when reading about Christmas. The author’s attention to detail was well done – something that is difficult to do with so little story written. If you are looking for a fun and light-hearted story, definitely check this one o [...]

    6. Heartwarming, sweet, a cozy read! A less than perfect single mom struggling alone to raise her little boy who still believes in Santa meets a lonely, handsome, single Christmas tree farmer who comes to their rescue! The perfect ingredients for holiday reading that carries you away for a little while and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy!

    7. I'm as much a sucker for a sappy love story as anyone, but this one was rather silly and should have been drawn out more. Good story though.

    8. Single mom Ellie and her six year old son, Brandon, are living without too much extra. Ellie recently got laid off from her job at a museum, and is in need of a new one. While at a tree farm one weekend, Ellie loses sight of Brandon. While looking for him, she runs into Reece Madsen, owner of the tree farm they’re at. Reece shows her where Brandon is at, and Ellie feels an instant attraction to him. He feels one towards her as well, and from there starts the process of Reece convincing Ellie t [...]

    10. I'm a sucker for short Christmas stories. As a writer, I'd really like to write one, but it takes a certain talent I haven't quite figured out. It needed to be satisfying and centered around hope, no matter the genre, without getting too complicated. A tough task to pull off!Alicia Street has done very well with this sweet romance, combining the required elements for a satisfying story. As others have mentioned, a bit underdeveloped, but at this length, there isn't a lot of room to explore.Thumb [...]

    11. An ok story. I really liked Reece but Ellie’s actions sometimes regarding her son did not seem right. Single parents might do all kinds of things to make it up to their kids or to cover up for missing things in their life, but I did not agree or like her outburst in the beginning towards Reece nor her idea of an answer to her son about his dad. I keep getting the feeling that it was too short of a story even for $0.99.

    12. This short story was really a nice read. I loved the fact is was so short but despite its shortness was able to tell a beautifull story where you really get to know the two main characters, Ellie and Reece. When Ellie struggles to find a good job and Reece offers her one at his Christmas tree farm, she doesn't know this new boss will turn out to be the man of her life. Slowly the two start to like each other and realise they don't want to go on without the other one after Christmas!

    13. HEA at Christmas is just what the doctor order. What a fun Christmas short this is. A single mother struggling to raise her son who wants what every child wants at Christmas starting with a Christmas tree. Not having the money & not liking the answer her son runs off. As she goes looking for him she runs right into here most sexy future. For him she is his Christmas angel. A fun read & was free on amazon.

    14. Ellie is a single mom with a distrust of men. But after a brief job at a tree farm she begins to realize that not all men are the same. The novella was sweet and romantic with a touch of the mystical. I enjoyed the story. It flowed well and the characters were fun. My only complain would be the length of the story. When I'm enjoying something, I want it to last a bit longer.I received this book free of charge in exchange for my honest review.

    15. This is a really cute story. Ellie is a divorced mother of a little boy. Financially she is barely making it. She literally runs into Reece at a Christmas tree farm. This is a very short book, but it gets the job done. Both Ellie and Reece have past issues. And both of them find comfort and a strong attraction in one another.A sweet story, that is just right for a Christmas read. It is a reminder of Christmas miracles and we all can use a miracle at Christmas.

    16. This is a sweet holiday romance. Told at a nice pace, with a wonderful tie-in to the precious book, it shares family values and romance. Once again, the author writes a clear image of the angry, scorned woman in only a few words. The main characters are always endearing but the antagonists end up being some of the best written characters.

    17. Sweet little romance, some elements were a little undeveloped, but not surprising for a short story. The main setting - a Christmas tree farm - was a bit unbelievable for me. It sounded more like the destination farm stand businesses around here than the tree farms I grew up on. But sometimes you have to suspend disbelief on the way to the happily ever after! =)

    18. Ellie is a single mom, looking for a job. Reece owns the Christmas tree farm where the two of them meet. A short, holiday novella that is the perfect size for this busy time of year.Content: clean.

    19. This was a sweet read! Loved this book! It was short enough i could read it all in one night and easy to follow. I loved how it all came together and i could truly relate to the characters. Great Christmas reading!!

    20. Overall this was a sweet story. Ellie being Reece's angel made little sense and Brandon's hysterical breakdown that was instantly cleared by a marriage proposal was hokey but still.a sweet story.

    21. Predictable. The supernatural element was nice, but not strictly necessary. The shortness didn't give a lot of time for things to develop.

    22. This was a very sweet and short Christmas story. It was filled with love and blessings. I loved the fact the he had a vision of her years before meeting her. It was very sweet.

    23. I would love to see this as a full length novel, the part about Brandon's dad really needed more room it felt rushed.
