    1. This was my first sampling of Lee Cushing’s work and I was not disappointed. His dark and compelling tale of the paranormal quite literally grips you and refuses to let go. You find yourself emerged in an intense and dangerous world as you follow the exploits of The Trust and one of its leaders, Alexandra. As well as being packed full with action and suspense there are moments of wickedly dark humor such as when a technique is detailed where vampires are pumped full of bullets long enough to di [...]

    2. Just because you feel this may be yet another vampire book and pass it over, I have to warn you that you may regret not taking the time to read this, apparently, collection of tales. Take the time to pick this up and you will quickly discover it is something more than that; it is full of a variety of beings of both the vampiric and supernatural variety, and their coming to be included in the ‘Casefiles’. Because of the vast number of different beings covered, not to mention a myriad of their [...]

    3. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review, and I am pleased to say I very much enjoyed it.It is, what reads like, a collection of stories which are based on a 'Trust' who protect the humans by destroying vampires and other supernatural beings. There are lots of different types of vampires mentioned, as well as lots of different 'agents' for the Trust. The book has many positive aspects which make it a very good read, however there are a couple of [...]

    4. This book was provided by the author to Nerd Girl Official for an honest review. So many twists and turns! This is centered around "The Trust" which is an organization that investigates the paranormal. However, this is not the vampire story we all know. As if vampires aren't already dark and twisted, but these are so much more. This is more of a collection of stories of the The Trust. The author takes you in many directions with these case files and brings you back to a central group of people w [...]

    6. At first glance you may think this is just another vampire novel and pass it by, but it is certainly worth a deeper look.Initially there is quite a bit that reminds one of Buffy the Vampire Slayer but the author takes the mythology in an imaginative new direction with the Trust and their operatives. The Nelapsi and other beings are also interesting reimaginings of the vampire legends. There are certainly plenty of plot twists and turns and they keep your attention throughout although they can cau [...]

    7. “The Trust Casefiles” is great and fun vampire thriller with many interesting themes and symbols that will definitely not leave you indifferent: vampire mythology, demonic forces, heroes, crime and crime investigation, humor, love and many others.I would not like to reveal you the story, but I can assure that it’s a great one! The story focuses on a secret organization that is fighting against demonic forces, protecting innocent people. It has provoking plot, interesting characters, surpri [...]

    8. Well.where do I start?! Guns, vampires, lesbians and werewolves, it’s all here!! I have to say that this is by far one of the best vampire novels I have read so far. I thought Blade was top dog in this genre but he’s been given a run for his money for sure with this novel. This is definitely not a boring tale by a long measure. There is so much going on, what with werewolves eating their husbands without realizing and poor Daphne coming home to find her girlfriend has been sucked dry and the [...]

    9. This is a story within a story. It’s a collection of adventures that wrap around the “Trust,” a secret organization who fight against the supernatural to help protect the innocent. You will meet many Characters in your journey through this book. Some good like Alexandra Glinyeu, a voodoo Priestess, and some bad like the Nelapsi, an unidentified flesh-eating creature that I would not want to run into on a dark night. This book keeps you interested with all its twist and turns, you never know [...]

    10. The Trust Casefiles is a thriller with a thought provoking plot. The book is well written, the story plot is original and the characters are fascinating and well developed.I don't want to give away too much of the book, but this book is not the typical vampire book, it is a very interesting read. It takes you away from reality and shows you a unique view of the paranormal world. To anyone looking for a great escape that sucks you in from the first page, completely holds your interest and doesn't [...]

    11. If you are into vampires, this your book! Lee Cushing provides plenty of comedy, drama, and a wild plot that keeps the pace quick and the pages turning. The character diversity is pretty impressive, as is the imagination of the author. It’s a completely different take on the paranormal world, and an intense dip into a dark and twisted tale. I won't include any spoilers, but you won't be disappointed! There are tons of interesting and downright outrageous characters to keep you entertained and [...]

    12. Vampires, Zombies and Werewolves are an eternal problem, but thank goodness there are those who fight them. The individuals who fight them put their love ones on the line, as well as their lives. The story doesn’t show the creatures as wanting to fit into society. It shows vampires as cold blooded killers, but it also points out how dependent the creatures of the paranormal world are on the humans they hunt. If you enjoy the paranormal, and thrillers all packed into a story that moves along qu [...]

    13. I really enjoyed this book. At first, I was hesitant, because there is just SO MUCH junk occult stuff, but this one stands out from the crowd. The writing is very well done, with plenty of plot and character development. I really liked the concept that good and evil are not distinct entities, but instead there are grey areas. It should also be said that this is not a story for the squeamish, it is a bloody thriller, as well, it should be. I look forward to more from this author.

    14. Rating: 8.0/10.0Review: This isn't your "new age" vampire tale. The classic vampire IS reinvented a bit, but I must say, I enjoyed the remake. The author was able to put a good spin on a nearly corrupted view of vampires in this day in age, and the story line was awesome to boot. I'm a huge fan of horror and I wasn't disappointed at all. I'd recommend this book to any horror fan. You'll be "sucked" into the book from the first chapter on!

    15. Lee Cushings's book took me by surprise as I didn't know what to expect from the author. It was recommended by a friend so I thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't disappointed by the complexity of the book and the diversity of the supernatural world described. Though the author hasn't shaped all the characters like most of the fictional books do, with lots of details, I believe it is a good thing as it focuses better the events.Overall a nice read!

    16. A very interesting story about the paranormal realm which has intrigued me from start to finish. I am a huge fan of the fiction genre and must say that the Trust Organization was an interesting spin in humanity's fight against evil. So many creatures that dwell in the darkness, lurking, waiting for the perfect moment to strike! The organization is the only opposing force able to face the demons.A dark but also funny book, with plenty of action, bullets and flesh eating demons

    17. Twilight, this is not. There are no sparkles, no sappy love lines. Oh yes, this book has vampires, but it is not your typical urban fantasy book by any stretch of the imagination. The Trust Casefiles are gritty, fast paced, and will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire ride. This is a collection of short stories, each with their own story, but intertwining beautifully. A great new spin on telling vampire tales and you don’t want to miss this ride.

    18. I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review. Making ConnectionsThough the beginning of this book left me somewhat confused as to what the various supernatural creatures were and whether they were good guys or bad guys. By a few chapters in I was on the edge of my seat with all of the action going on through the book. From that point it wasn't a dull moment. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!

    19. ‘The Trust Casefiles’ is a fabulous book of love, trust and edge-of-your-seat life threatening situations. The book is written as a series of short stories that weave through life of the Trust, an organisation fighting a range of different types of vampires, and that showcase the creativity of author, Lee Cushing.

    20. I recieved an ARC from author. To be honest I am not usually into vampire books but I'd thought try something different.I do agree its not your normal vampire book. What stopped it for me from getting 5 stars was I felt that the first few chapters jumped from scene to scene a bit much for me.Otherwise everything else was good.

    21. Firstly Thank You to for advancing me a copy of this book. The Trust files is a collection of stories of The Trust who protect humans against demons and vampires and the like. I enjoyed the book even though I would not have normally have chosen it. A good read.

    22. The Trust Casefiles was a fantastic read. It left me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The novel was well-written, the character development was so deep and had a unique plot. I had a hard time putting it down once I began reading. Cushing's book is spell-binding.

    23. A great thriller that has an unexpected ending. The book was well written and the character development was great. If you like suspenseful thrillers, then you definitely want to check out this book

    24. This just didn't work for me. Not necessarily a bad book - it seemed to have potential - but I've tried picking it back up a few times, but I just can't get into it.
