    1. *Warning: Spoilers*Plague World is the third book in the Ashley Parker zombie/urban fantasy series, following her fight to save the world from the zombie plague. This continues on from where Plague Nation ended, and Ashley and her band of merry-men are fighting their way across America to find Gabriel, who was taken by the bad guys. He could also hold the cure to the virus that is now spreading across the world. As usual there is quite a lot of action, but I felt as though not a lot actually happ [...]

    2. mybookishways/2014/08/Ashley Parker has been dealing with, and battling, the plague, and the zombies they spawned, like a champ, and Plague Nation was especially harrowing for Ashley and the gang. There was a helicopter crash, an ambush, and perhaps the worst part for Ashley, Gabriel was captured at gunpoint. He and Ashley were just starting to explore their new relationship, and the possibility of a way to control his condition. Needless to say, Ashley is desperate to get him back. To make thin [...]

    3. badbirdreads/review-plagueAt A GlanceSeriously, that’s the end of the series? WTF?The GoodIt started out good. The action took time to get going but it’s as gruesome and heartbreaking as ever. The group is on a mission to save Gabriel, Ashley’s boyfriend, and some others from their group who got kidnapped by the bad guys who want the zombie apocalypse to continue. Ash and the crew are trying to find a cure, but everyone wants to get in their way. So, the adventures begin and we meet a lot [...]

    4. Not a good idea to read this one without reading book 1 Plague Town and book 2 Plague Nation first. This was a very fast paced, again action packed, filled with gory humor and lots of the snark we expect from Ashley however it also had moments of heartache and moments of wonder when at the end something very unexpected and wonderful came to pass for Lily.I laughed, cried, cringed and enjoyed this last book in the trilogy and will miss Ashley Parker and JT.

    5. I love this series! I want it to keep going! I'm in love with the characters and am sad some of them had to go, but that always happens. I am so happy for Lil, but I don't want to add a spoiler so only the readers know what I mean :) I loved the new biker characters and I could picture Sam Elliot as the leader perfectly! I'm really sad at all Ash went through just to get to where she is now another spoiler I can't speak of. I really hope we see more of this series. I had heard this was the last [...]

    6. This book was very disappointing. It is supposed to be the last in the series, but there were too many loose endings. They haven't found the cure yet, and there was never a turn for the better. I didn't expect it to end all happily but it could've ended at least with a little hope.nding a cure or something like that. They also didn't explain why Griff did what he did. There was never any reason. He was basically murdering peopleeeping with girls and passing on the virus. I really enjoyed the fir [...]

    7. Ashley kicks ass again! The story took a turn i didnt expect. I had thought maybe Gabriel had betrayed Ashley. You really care about the characters. Lils' story thread ends with a tug at your heart strings. We lose some characters we like and save some we wish had been killed. There is room for more Ashley stories! that makes me happy because I love a kick ass smart mouthed snarky hero. Long Live Ashley Parker.

    8. Was rushed and disjointed, but I was still able to get into it. I wasn't happy with the ending even though I understood why it happened.

    9. It’s always nice when an author knows what fans want and has no qualms about giving it to them, especially when it comes to the conclusion of a series. Author Dana Fredsti just keeps delivering the goods with Ashley Parker and her zombie-stomping crew in PLAGUE WORLD, the third and final book in the Plague trilogy. A bit darker in tone but still full of wit and action, this book is the pinnacle of the collection, and I’m very pleased with out things turn out.Ashley Parker is touted as “Buf [...]

    10. I loved the first two books of this series, but I have to take a star off because this book didn't end as much as stop. I will read however many books follow this one, but I was expecting the series to end as a trilogy. The surprise was hard to take.Dana did a great job in this book with the side characters, particularly the Harajuku girls trapped in a shop in Tokyo (it's like they were written just for me!) and the ex-Special Forces motorcycle "club." I would love to read spin-off stories about [...]

    11. A zombie book with hearts, guts, brains and humor, “Plague World” is a must read for any and all zombie fans! There were ups and downs (and oh, the downs really, really got to me) and plenty of thrills. There was tons of action, just a touch of romance and more chills than you can count! The ending was.difficult. Difficult both because of the fact that the series is over and because of certain events. However, it was not gratuitously difficult, what happened really felt as if it needed to ha [...]

    12. What the HELL was that?!???!!!! I know it seems drastic to give a book one star (especially when you really liked the other two) but seriouslyWTF?!?! How on earth is that conceivably a good ending? An appropriate one? II can't evenI'm so pissed off I wasted all this time just to end up with THAT! I mean, seriously there were other ways this series could have been ended that didn't result in THAT! SPOILERS***********************************************I cannot BELIEVE, much less fathom a reason w [...]

    13. I love Ashley Parker and the entire series. There have already been plenty of people giving details that I'm going to refrain from wasting your time here. I think that this is a great book - there's plenty of character development, introspection and enough action and plot twists to keep the pages turning very quickly.I'm giving Plague World four stars because, although this is the last book in the series, I was left feeling that there were too many things unresolved. I hope the "world" gets pick [...]

    14. All the snarky comments with all the fun of kicking zombie butt. . . Plague World continues the fun started in Plague Town & Plague Nation. We find out more about what, who & why the plague started as Ashley does what she best. This was a romp through zombie infested California as only a native could take us on. I think the vignettes of activities in other areas keep the book from veering too far into pop culture campiness while the humor, black as it is, keeps the book fresh.I thoroughly [...]

    15. Disappointing ending all around. The action was dragged out too long, to the point that I started skimming most of it. And all just so that the ending could be rushed. People who deserved to survive didn't and some, one in particular, who didn't, will live to see another day. I don't expect happy, happy endings in zombie apocalypse stories but this went beyond the pale. If there are more books I will not be reading them.

    16. This conclusion to Dana Fredsti's plague series offered all of the fun, tension and page turning action of the first two books. I liked seeing the story lines tied up and will miss Ashley Parker and her zombie world. A very satisfying read. Well done.

    17. I enjoyed this series but confess to being startled and greatly saddened by the ending. I really wasn't expecting what happened Very well-written and entertaining zombie series.

    18. 4.5 starsA sign of a good book, for me, is still considering the ending even hours later after finishing it which is what I am still doing.

    19. This was a really good ending! Very sad and emotional but still a great finale and an unusual zombie story! My fave part was the "wild cards" and the ending with the "certain political" figures who were mysterious till the very end! What a shock but an obvious parallel to our real life in a way of what could happen if great power got into the hands of a few people who were radical, selfish, and tyrannical. Loved the Ashley Parker series and I completely forgot how old she was more my own age whi [...]

    20. We're back with the final part of the Ashley Parker series. It's the continuation from Book 2 where Gabriel and the doc was taken. And this book is all about throwing together a team to save them. And the following is what Plague World has to offer on top of everything from Book 1 and 2:- A ton of recap.- Return of the douche bag prick that you thought had died. (view spoiler)[The General (hide spoiler)].- The revelation of the Evil Organization in Book 2 and also the disappoint of this organizat [...]

    21. Ashley Parker is one awesome heroine who definitely makes you like her more with every book. This book definitely was a lot more intense than the previous two books as the stakes are much higher for everyone. The whole world is now in jeopardy as everyone has to deal with the zombie outbreak in a way that’s unexpected.Ashely and the rest of the wild cards have a lot to deal with. Not to mention that they have so many unknown variables as to why would someone unleash this plague purposely. This [...]

    22. I seriously have to wonder how a series that started out so promising could end up like this. I was SO looking forward to book three, especially as I bought the first two books at the same time and had to wait for this one. So I settled down in bed early with the aircon going, hoping to read this in one go and get some resolution. I read it, but there was very little resolution! Watch out people, there will be spoilers in this one because I have to write my thoughts out. Can I just say that havi [...]

    23. A sad fact of modern culture is that everything has to run in threesor until the franchise stops making money. It has become part of the zombie sub-culture as well. Dana Fredsti has written the third part of her Ashley Parker trilogy (I assume) and picks up right where Plague Nation left off - in San Francisco among boatloads of zombies. The bad news is that Ashley's boyfriend has been spirited off to parts unknown. The worse news is that the virus has gone airborne, meaning the humans on planet [...]

    24. I finished the series and up until this book I legit felt like Turk making the 'I Don't Know' sound. Usually timelines don't bother me but that's probably cause all the books I've read have been good so far. This one uh the timeline was messy. The author clearly tried to make jokes that were relevant at the time. "You gonna tell someone about Mister Fifty Shades of Asshat?" I researched this so dont judge me but that series didnt even get popular until 2012 and its assumed that the whole series [...]

    25. It is such a shame that this series is now over. I grew to love the world and the people in it, that was created in this series. This series is based around a zombie apocalypse and a group of wild cards who are looking for a cure. Each book title tells you how the plague is spreading just by reading the titles of the book. I could see this series being made into a movie, there are so many movie moments. The main character, Ashley, I was not fond of at first but I grew to love her as a character a [...]
