    1. 3.5 stars“Lieutenant Carson, miss. Alex Carson. Northwest Mounted Police.”And who doesn't love a gold rush town and a handsome Mountie? 2. I enjoy historical romances novels and also have a fondness for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. This book, set in 1898, was perfect for me! 3. Was really good, with the historical details of daily life in a mining boom town. I would have liked a little more towards the end, but its all up to the author how it goes. Its a good read.

    4. Very good book, but I don't think the Mounties wore the red serge (red uniform) all the time. Maybe for special occasions.
