    About "Mike Stangle Dave Stangle"

    1. Mike Stangle Dave Stangle

Mike Stangle Dave Stangle Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates: And a Thousand Cocktails book, this is one of the most wanted Mike Stangle Dave Stangle author readers around the world.

    1. Find all of my reviews at: 52bookminimum/If you belong to the following . . . there is ZERO reason for you to ever pick up Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. On the other hand, if you laugh at every raunchy/inappropriate joke within each Judd Apatow film and remain firmly planted in the "I Wanna Bang Vince Vaughn's Film Characters (Both the Fat and Thin Versions)" or know what OTPHJ stands for this might be the book for you.I requested Mike and Dave from the library after yet another damn list of [...]

    2. Honest disclosure, and maybe a bit of a spoiler: at the most, 5% of this book concerns Mike and Dave trying to get wedding dates. Also, the results of the endeavor are not really discussed other than their 15 minutes of fame - I was expecting a detailed rundown of the wedding dates and events from the wedding in question - this does not happen. Most of the book is a recounting of raunchy, sex-filled , alcohol and drug fueled adventures the Stangle brothers have been involved in throughout their l [...]

    3. This book was hilariously offensive. I saw a lot of negative reviews so I was worried when starting it. Once you understand that these guys aren't trying to hurt anyone's feelings, the book is laugh-out-loud funny. Their stories definitely made me feel better about my questionable life decisions. Would 100% recommend if you're in the mood for a good laugh!

    4. Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates was a quick and very funny read! This book is definitely not for the easily offended, and it really relies on offensive comedy and shock factor. The book worked for me and I found myself laughing throughout. It was extremely funny, but it definitely did not have a running story, it was just a collection of ridiculous true stories from these two man-child brothers. It was a fun read, but it got a little repetitive with the stories, as every story was about their f [...]

    5. If only I had been waiting for a book by some over-privileged, under-sexed straight white dudes telling women what dudes like and sharing stories of drinking (and driving) and acting like assholes with pride. Or, as I like to call it, "all fucking day every fucking day." I'm still shocked the name Tucker Max didn't come up once, since these guys clearly want his fame.

    6. Oh yeah, they're assholes all right. And brothers, whose spur-of-the-moment Craigslist ad went viral(it's something, believe me)I'm going to tell you right now. If you have a moral bone in your body and are easily offended, do NOT pick up this book, it will not make you a happy reader. Those of us who like this sort of book (Tucker Max fans will appreciate it), you'll dig. And you'll dig big.Out in May, 2015. Read it!

    7. This only gets 2 stars for the first 2 chapters. The initial Craigslist thing going viral was amusing, but who the hell thought these 2 man-babies should get a book deal??? They are not quite at the level of douche-bros, but pretty close. Their dad sounds like a super-interesting guy, mainly b/c he had to put up with these doofuses for decades.

    8. I was hoping this would be a little more about the actual wedding that said dates were taken to. There's a little of that, but the rest of this boiled down to fart and penis jokes, I'm probably not their key demographic.

    9. Extremely hilarious and incredibly crude. Mike and Dave Stangle sure have it all.I initially picked this up after watching the movie, not quite sure wether it was going to be based off of the movie, or full of wacky tales by these two crazy jerks. Of course, it was the latter. The perfect book to read if you are looking for a good laugh, of course though - you need to take these two with a grain of salt. A large one of that. Definite warning for crude and sometimes hard to stomach idiocy.By the w [...]

    10. Basically a memoir of never-ending Frat Boy debauchery. As someone who is not easily offended I was able to get through this book just fine. The writing is conversational and mediocre. Honestly this book struck me as neither horrible, nor amazing. The players are all recognizable since they can easily be compared to any number of people you know in real life. I picked this book up after watching the movie and laughed until my sides hurt, but the movie is actually far better (and funnier) than th [...]

    11. I didn't actually finish the book, because even though it's not that long, somehow I couldn't do it in the 3 weeks I had on my library loan. It's fine for what it is, a collection of crazy frat boy-type stories. Some did leave me a little offended, but that's not what I'm taking stars off for. Even though many of the stories were funny, they just didn't engage me, I guess because I've never lived a similar lifestyle so I can't relate. But if you want to read that sort of thing, go for it!

    12. Dave and Mike retell crazy antics from their lives, mostly from college experiences and being 20 somethings in NY and DC. Parts were laugh out loud funny and other tales completely disgusting and weird. Many of the situations they got themselves into over the years made for a quick read and many laughs. The brothers narrate with such bravado and enthusiasm you can't help but laugh. The audiobook is the way to go.

    13. Maybe more of a 2.5. The book was funny at times, but I found myself having trouble sitting down to read it. The transitions weren't very smooth and it was very easy for me to put the book down and forget about it days at a time. I'm someone who loves to be hooked into a story, and generally a few days is it takes for me to finish a book.

    14. Not my typeI like a good funny book and this book started out very funny, but I got bored with it. The first quarter was funny and interesting and I probably should have stuck it out, but I lost interest when one of the guys drones on and on about women and what they should do to attract a guy. It just went in too long and I just couldn't finish.

    15. Know what you are getting into with this one. You get crude stories but hilarious guys. I loved it but I can see why other people might not. It made me laugh a lot. Reminded me of Tucker Max.

    16. I picked this up after seeing the trailers for the upcoming movie. It's not the type of book I normally read, but it looked like a fun way to start the summer.Mike and Dave are both pretty gross (and proud of it.) There's plenty of talk about sexual exploits, problematic penises and alcohol -- LOTS and LOTS of alcohol. The language is pretty coarse, so stay away if that's something that offends you, or you're just not a fan of it. Some of the stories made me cringe, a couple made me literally tu [...]

    17. I have the exact same sense of humor that the authors do. SO before I picked this up, I scanned the reviews, many that told me this was a waste of time novel (I read the same reviews about Ulysses though) and that it was offensive. Naturally I cried laughing at the first chapter and decided to debunk all the reviews I had read. This novel is offensive if you are easily offended. I have the same sense of humor that the authors do so I thought their tales of debauchery were hilarious, many times s [...]

    18. I personally found this book to be not quite my cup of tea. Funny at times, the book is basically the two brothers alternate writing each chapter and describe how amusingly insane both they and their lives are. Reading through the book, I was constantly wondering how much truth there was in all their tales. Although they say it's all true, you have to wonder how two apparently functioning alcoholics can do so much drugs, get into so many ridiculous "adventures", cause so much trouble, care so li [...]

    19. They're bros, biologically and the urban dictionary definition, "Obnoxious partying males who are often seen at college parties. When they aren’t making an ass of themselves they usually just stand around holding a red plastic cup waiting for something exciting to happen so they can scream something that demonstrates how much they enjoy partying. Nearly everyone in a fraternity is a bro but there are also many bros who are not in a fraternity. "So they're kinda D bags, but they've got a few th [...]

    20. I won't lie, I picked this up mainly because it is becoming a movie. That being said, (spoiler alert) this book really has nothing to do with the movie. Yes, there is a wedding, and Yes, there is a Craigslist ad but they do not elaborate on their dates or the wedding. What the book includes is just a bunch of hilarious stories and situations that these two brothers have found themselves in. It is offensive if you are very sensitive, but, if you read it with an open mind it's comical. I laughed o [...]

    21. I read this a year ago and I'm finally getting around to reviewing it now that a summer film adaptation is coming in 2016 starring Zac Efron and Adam DeVine in the title roles. An ARC of this came to our work and I thought I needed something light and nonsensical. Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates is surely not going to earn any literary merits. It's basically about two idiot frat boy types that used Craigslist to pick up women and blew up the internet as well as social media. If you're a fan of [...]

    22. I liked the movie and thought I would give the book a chance despite the horrible reviews. But the thing is after less than 70 pages through I completely agreed with those reviews. The book pretty much just shows how horrible these guys are. They are telling women how to dress when we go out and that men like boobs and butts and sex. WOW cause the world didn't already know that. There are so many men that are trying to convince us that sex isn't all guys think about and this book just made us be [...]
