    1. Our story time crowd absolutely LOVED this book.I gave hints about the animal pictured in the snowflake and they shouted out the answers. Such fun!

    2. Each page has one letter (in alphabetical order) and a snowflake design showing 6 attached shapes of an animal starting with that letter (H is for hippopotamus; I is for iguana; J is for jaguar; K is for kangaroo). Instructions for cutting "your own zooflake" are at the end. The only negative is that the X page says "X is for fox."

    3. Cute, but could have been so much more. The papercuts are lovely, but I wonder if the book could have been taken to another level by something as simple as adding one or two factual statements per animal describing some aspect of their physical being featured in Howell's cuts. For example, on "K is for kangaroo" there could have been a sentence about being a marsupial (see the joey?) or their strong, powerful legs. For "Z is for zebra" a statement about zebra striping could have been included. T [...]

    4. Creative alphabet book using unique snowflake cut-outs depicting a different animal for each letter. The only one that looks odd to me is the vultures for the letter V. The snowflakes for all the other letters are fantastic. What an engaging way to learn about the alphabet and some interesting animals not often mentioned in picture books, such as the iguana, yak, newt, jaguar, camel, pelican, and quail. While the unicorns for the letter U are fun and look great, they are the only animal in the b [...]

    5. An alphabet book of paper snowflake zoo animals. The text is extremely simple, and while the idea is intriguing, the lack of information or zoo connection makes this just a fun book for the preschool and kindergarten set. Directions for how to create your own zoo snowflake are included. While there may not be a lot of met to this abc book, kids are sure to enjoy it as part of a themed storytelling session.

    6. This book is a reaooy neat book. Each page has a letter of the alphabet and uses an animal with the letter. The pictures of the letter are expremely neat. The author draws the animals inside of a snowflake. I really liked how the author did this and it made the book more interesting. I also really like how it is different than the other alphabet books.

    7. This is an ABC picture book that uses snowflakes cut out in animals to tell the ABCsIn the back of the book are instructions on how to cut snowflakes to get the various animal designs. Want to own this book!

    8. I really liked the illustrations and creativity- there is an animal for each letter of the alphabet, which is illustrated in a kaleidoscope-way in a snowflake. It is very clear what animal is being represented. There is an "iffy" letter for "x"- Fox. It doesn't start with an "x"

    9. OK, I love paper snowflakes. Love them. Love them so much that Sloane and I blizzard her bedroom walls every January and February. Plus, I love alphabet books - such a great structure. But this one? Boring. No words. Missing details, simple instructions. Boring.

    10. one of the most beautiful alphabet books i've seen. only four stars because "x" isn't for fox. its a lousy letter, but fox just stopped the book for me. but i'm still giving it as a gift and will reccomend to everyoneere is also a how-to demo in the back.

    11. This book is awesome. So beautiful and eduction too. It's really great because it shows you how to make a zoo flake at the end of the book. Be careful though, it's very addicting.

    12. Ahhhhh I loved this book. Fantastic fantastic animal shapes in round snowflakes. Just amazing! It inspired Andrew and I to think up a few animals of our own.
