    1. I love the Bluegrass Country series. It is set in one of my favorite states. For the Love of Mercy picks up where For the Love of Big Orange left off yet it is its own book. That means if you didn't read big Orange you can still enjoy Mercy, (though I recommend you read Big Orange - good story and has good background for this book). In Mercy we meet Jax. He was adopted. He has some issues from that and also from just being spoiled. He is what I would call the typical spoiled, rich BOOK kid. I kn [...]

    2. I was pretty excited to receive this book for review as I really enjoyed the first one when I read it (For the Love of Big Orange). The things that I love most about these types of books is that they always ooze that Southern charm, and I'm a sucker for all things Southern when it comes to the U.S. We meet Jax first of all, he's pretty spoiled, and soon learns he has a sister somewhere. He heads out to Kentucky in search of her, and he ends up finding Mercy-Lynn; and then everything he didn't kn [...]

    3. I think what impressed me first about this book was the voice. There's no other word for it but charming and oh, so southern. Perfect for the context of the novel. The second was the rich, well-developed plot. Every character grows and changes. This isn't your run of the mill romance. I felt like the author captured what it was like being at the precipice of adulthood, trying to sort out what you want from what you need. Really great book. I will be reading the rest of the series.

    4. Full Review at: What's Beyond Forks? This is Jax and Mercy's story. We didn't meet them in the first book, however; we did meet Lacie Jo and Emma who play a large part of this story. When Jax ventures into Bluegrass country in search of his sister, he's in for some surprises. He's this rich city boy meeting the not so rich(monetarily speaking) country folks. Add in little culture shock, and he's a fish out of water. This was a fun story as we got to see each of these lives start to entangle with [...]

    5. So much fun! Loved the first in the series (For the Love of Big Orange) and now, the story continues, with the introduction of a new set of characters as well. Loved the Kentucky bluegrass setting, the simple lifestyle lived there, and the hot romance.

    6. Highly recommend this series! I really enjoyed the rhythm of the story and how it flows between characters. Can't wait for the next one!!

    7. Goodthe system of adoption and foster care are better now than years agoe practice that allowed children to be place separately.
