    1. When looking for a historical romance I managed to stumble over this particular author. After seeing many good reviews on for her first book 'Old Sins Long Shadows', I bought it and became so incredibly engrossed in it that I couldn't put it down! When I heard the author was releasing her second book I knew it was a must-buy!Although I had high hopes for this book, I knew 'Old Sins Long Shadows' would be a hard book to follow, however it absolutely did not disappoint. 'The Gossamer Trail' is a [...]

    2. I won this in a first-reads giveaway, so I want to thank B.D Hawkey for the wonderful package I received, it made my day. I'm not really a romance reader, so I went into this without knowing what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. A stranger enters her home unannounced, only to find himself to be hit on the head with a pan and then get amnesia. Beth decides to help this [...]

    4. 4.5/5.0Beth and Joss may seem mismatched to some but B.D. Hawkey does a wonderful job of building characters so that they have depth and allow the reader to empathize with them. Read full review in the 2014/2015 Holiday issue of InD’tale Magazine.
