    1. This was a delight Christmas read about the beginning of a bond between 4 disadvantages kids, their mentor and a love story. The best part of the story is how Christ's love can transform us.I look forward to reading the whole series.

    2. Great prequel! Hot man of faith hero ;) So much story packed in this novella; passion, romance, drama, and joy. Highly recommended.

    3. I'm always on the lookout for a good holiday romance, and "A Christmas Bond" fits the bill. I had the opportunity to read an advanced readers copy this past weekend in exchange for an honest review, and I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Author Lee Tobin McClain sets her characters in Pittsburgh. Readers familiar with Western Pennsylvania will immediately recognize the details that root the story in the region, along with a bit of the main character's back story that was pulled from local headlines [...]

    4. I must admit that I was a bit confused by the cover of this story because I had downloaded the prequel to it and it had the same cover. The prequel is also about John Moretti and his first love, Emily. It sets the stage for this story, A Christmas Bond. John is now the head of the Covenant School where he helps teen boys try to rebuild their lives that border on juvenile detention. He teaches them job skills, manners, and how to make good choices. Still the teens are often on the edge of falling [...]

    5. A Christmas Bond by Lee McClain is a lovely Christian, Christmas story. Annie Bauer has gone home for Christmas to help her grandmother. Her grandmother is getting on in years and refuses to leave her home despite the decline in her neighborhood. John Moretti, a war hero, has opened a boys’ residential school next door to Annie’s grandmother. Annie is worried about her grandmother being next to these juvenile delinquents (Annie’s term). Annie and her sister were the victims of a horrible c [...]

    6. Lee Tobin McClain has written a story about broken souls who come together during the Christmas Holidays. Annie Bauer has returned to the frigid north to visit her grandmother for Christmas. The neighborhood and house she grew up in appear to her to be in dismal decline. Haunted by the memories that destroyed a part of her life, she has a tremendous amount of difficulty coping with John Moretti and the home for delinquent boys next door. Moretti has his own devils to battle, regardless of his he [...]

    7. John Moretti enjoys his job mentoring young men who's last chance is h is Charter school. His next door neighbor helps him out however she can. Her daughter, though is a different story! Annie had a terrible experience when she was younger and can not stand having these delinquents so close to her grandmother! Then when their baby Jesus goes missing, she knows she has to put an end to it. But she's very attracted to their guardianThis was such a sweet story! It focused, of course, around John an [...]

    8. A school for delinquent boys, a grandmother, an untrusting young lady, and a guy who's trying to make it all work. Annie is afraid for her grandmother who lives next to a boys school. Her twin sister was tortured by a group of people and she's never been comfortable around groups of teenagers since. When she has to deal with these boys while helping her grandmother out, she gets to face her fears.A nice story of learning to trust and not judge.

    9. GREAT READThis was a great story. The characters were well developed and the story moved at a brisk pace. The story was sweet without being sappy. It taught several Christian principles without being preachy, forgiveness, humility, faith, not judging others, and service. I'm sure that wasn't all of them. Read this knowing that it is the beginning of a series. I do recommend this book and hopefully will feel the same about the series.

    10. This is a great story! I loved the tale and found it very hard to put down. It shows the bond between the boys and their teacher. It teaches about forgiveness and trust and that people can change their ways. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!**Please note that I was provided a free copy of the book from the author in exchange for an honest review.**

    11. I love Christmas stories and this one did not dissappoint. Coming to terms with past hurts and moving on to live life on God's terms seems to be a difficult thing for this heroine to do. However, a boys home run by a hurting man are a great help towards living a life of helping others. Truly a great read and very satisfying conclusion. You will be very glad you read this book.

    12. Great prequelI read Baby Bond yesterday and immediately downloaded this book. I will admit that it hurt my feelings to pay $2 for a novella, BUT since I got Baby Bond for free I decided it was worth it. OMG! This is such a good book! There is so much romance, passion and drama packed into 70 pages. Great kissing ;) And hot man of faith hero. Yowza!! I highly recommend!

    13. This CHRISTmas novella is a wondful read anytime. Annie has lost her faith at the murder of her sister. Can her faith be restored? Can she find love at the age of 35? Will she ever be able to be around troubled youth and trust them? Will she ever accept Covenant Accedemy in her Gran's neighborhood? This is a very interesting romance. I was given this book to read for an honest review.

    14. I really enjoyed this novella. It was a fun and quick read with a heartwarming story line and a great cast of characters. It was also a wonderful reminder of how God can transform troubled lives. It's a wonderful start to a series that I definitely look forward to reading. I was given ab e-book copy in return for an honest review.

    15. This book was amazing. It spoke of four young boys who came together anf formed a family. It provided family, trust, honesty and loyalty. the story line was great. I would recommend to my family anf friends.

    16. Just brilliant - like every other book in this series. Love the ingraining of wholesome godly values for the leading men of the story. Loved the book.

    17. This is a great read! I couldn't put it down. There is a lot of heart and a little romance in this novella. I would definitely recommend and I can't wait for the next one in the series!
