    1. I stopped reading at 21% when the supposedly intelligent and educated woman decides to more or less blackmail the 'billionaire' (who arrives smartly dressed in a suit [oh god a Ralph Lauren suit no less] for his date with her ) to come and clean a park. SHE of course is dressed in appropriate clothes. It's one of those cringe-worthy scenes that has appeared in several books recently - with the 'sassy' (aka thoroughly rude) female setting out to humiliate the billionaire who she has only recently [...]

    2. So drawn out Wow I just don't know this was so drawn out and the cat and mouse chase was eternal. The plot was predictable and the characters were not very likable. The steamy sex was too little, not well written, they skipped good parts and raced to the end! This book was very repetitive Jon and Lizette meet they get all wonderfully they make love Jon leaves the next morning either to work or for some other reason Lizette wakes up happy at first however once she realises Jon isn't there she dou [...]

    3. Very good billionaire HEA storyThis story is a very good billionaire with the happily ever after. Its very well written. You can connect to the characters. It's a standalone, but there are other books in the series. Overview. Lizette works with a non profit group that helps people in the community. She also volunteers at several events when she is not doing her accounting job at second chance. When Lizette's boss gets sick, she is asked to attend an event and find sponsors to help their group. T [...]

    4. I honestly enjoyed the story. It was very interesting that I wasn't able to put the book down until I reached the end. I've read a lot of Billionaire Romance but this one somehow have a different vibe into it. And I mean that positively. The characters, and the events leading to the conflict was smoothly and beautifully woven I hardly see any fault. Every scene was also appropriately collaborated that lead to an interesting progressive plot.I guess the only thing I was looking for was an emotion [...]

    5. *** 3 Cranky Stars ***The Billionaire's Secret is Book One in the Betting on You SeriesThis is a light, easy escape with likable characters and a predictable plot. The story centers on Jon and Lizette. He a billionaire and she an accountant at a non-profit organization. When Billionaire and workaholic, Jon Vinchi, is tricked into raffling himself as 'most eligible bachelor' at a fundraising event, he gets more than he bargained for.At the last minute, Lizette attends the fundraiser, standing in f [...]

    6. Good for a freebie on iBooks.**TYPOThe company she works for is Another Chance*! (But page 231) Not 'Another Choice' (anyone else see this?)I'd say I'm about 70% into this book now and main female character is actually starting to irritate meI mean, they have an amazing night together sparks fly all that - the next morning she comes up with all these thoughts in her head and leaves abruptly leaving a cold note behind for him. 'Thanks for the sex, oh yeah about that sponsorship' who's really usin [...]

    7. Now I rememberwhy I gave up on this book the first time I tried to read it. Not only was the plot fairly senseless (not unusual in a romance, of course), the characters flat, and the dialogue awkward and stilted, but several scenes and situations were so unbelievable that I felt embarrassed for the author. But then I started to suspect the book was written by filling in the blanks of some sort of romance novel template. Or maybe by a romance-writing android. Whatever the case, I stopped feeling [...]

    8. For this being Jeannette's first book it was amazing. I couldn't tell it was first published book It was as if I was reading someone who had published many books.Reading The Billionaire's Secret I was just captivated. The characters were perfect. I don't think could have done a better job on choosing the characters. I though Jon and Pipette were perfect for each other.Jon is one sext Billionaire. He was entered into a draw where someone would won him for a night. Of course he did not know about [...]

    9. Too unrealisticThe first thought I had when I started reading this was "People don't talk like that." Americans use contractions. A lot. There was too much dialogue that didn't flow easily because contractions weren't used. Lizette's fainting spell: not letting someone sleep after hitting their heads is old school. Very old school. And when she finally went to her house she decided that since the concussion had passed it was safe to sleep. Concussions don't pass, and they take weeks to resolve. [...]

    10. This wasn't a terrible book, but the writing was stilted. The conversations were very formal and didn't read the way normal people speak to one another. Also, it just wasn't plausible how Lizette kept referring to Jon as Mr. Vinchi. After their first night together, she left him a note and signed it with her full name. WTH! She'd just slept with him, but her note telling him that she was leaving was so formal that you'd think they were business associates. It just didn't read smoothly. The premi [...]

    11. Let's make one thing clear. The only reason I read the this book was because it was on the free books section on iBooks.I needed a light read after reading the fucked up ending of We Were Liars, and this seemed like the perfect book.As I read on, I quickly realised how badly this book was written. The characters has no depth and frankly it reminded me too much of 50 Shades of Grey (or the little that I read of that book). It's that typical book, were the rich guy loves the girl despite the girl be [...]

    12. Enjoyable story!Lizette is a hardworking accountant, who hides her beauty and personality under a tight bun and stark office clothes. She's caring about the community and the people in her lives, and passionate about her job.Jon is a brilliant businessman, who's worked hard for his success and is motivated by the loss of his father. He likes to keep out of the public eye and has little time for personal relationships. For different reasons, they are forced to attend a charity evening, where they [...]

    13. This was a very enjoyable read that I read front to back in one sitting! Just couldn't put it down. It's a very well written billionaire finds love story that I enjoyed very much. It also has some very interesting characters that should give us great future stories. I would definitely recommend it.

    14. This book started with such promise. Then it turned into poorly written, poorly edited highly predictable story/dialogue/description. There were parts that couldn't keep track of who was doing what, characters changed their tune and perspectives on a dime, and it just spiraled into juvenile writing. I had to force myself to finish reading it.

    15. An easy read that keeps you guessing. This book is a good clean family book that shows how love grows in a relationship. Will hold your interest until the end and leaves you wanting more.

    16. Story was cute but female main character was just too stupid and melodramatic. People stereotype men about not communicating but this woman was a gold medalist in jumping to conclusions and not talking! Just too ridiculous.

    17. Annoying behavior doesn’t sellI appreciate that this book was free but oh my did the main character Lizzette got on my nerves with her stupid behavior. I had to skip through majority of the book to get to the ending. News flash hun, not every billionaire cheats or is a Casanova. The fact that everytime something happens she begins to cry and start to think of the worst case scenario? Seriously you’re that fragile and naive child? Not to mention that he couldn’t never know what to do and wh [...]

    18. First in the series. I got for free on . Happy not to have paid full price! I'm a sucker for the Cinderella trope. I was hoping this book would give me that fix. I got more than I bargained for. We also get the BIG MISUNDERSTANDING, miscommunication & amnesia. Dialogue is stiff. We get plenty of you are, will not, I will. What's weird is she also uses contractions in the same sentence, so not sure what the deal is with that. The hero is OK, but not a talker (thus miscommunication). The heroi [...]

    19. Thnaks for letting me read this book for free! In return i am volunteering to place a honest review here! The book got me right at the start with a strong opening first chapter and the story was builbing up very nice which resulted in a page turner!A better book known in the billionairs genre, with secerts ,enough emotions ,intrigues, and even heated scenes ,just enough to keep it interesting!A story which has a good value to my opion!Godd storyline and two lovely dynamic characters! made it succ [...]

    20. Stopped reading at 44%. I don't generally read books about billionaire's but this book was free and sounded good. I really didn't care for Lizette and when Jon began throwing around money like it was nothing I was officially over the book. I realize that that's what billionaire's do but since I didn't like the rest of the book I stopped reading.

    21. Nice love story to readFull of romance, suspense and love! Well said "True love does not happen all the time, and for many of us it only comes once in a lifetime. So be sure you have all your facts this time. Don’t assume anything. Ask questions if you don’t know the answer, don’t guess the answer."

    22. This story kept me wonderingLizzette was very unsure of her relationship with Jon. Every time she became even a little comfortable,Jon would disappear, leaving her alone and heartbroken. Jon never understood that he needed better communication skills or at least the words a woman needed to hear.

    23. This was cute and fairly realistic, if predictable and lacking a bit of steam and "pep". It flowed well, and the characters were just interesting enough to keep you reading. An entertaining distraction and a fairly quick read. I would consider reading on in the series.

    24. Kept me interestedThe premise is trite and the execution flawed but the end results were still enjoyable. The lack of ability to just come out with it and admit their feelings was an annoying trait of both hero and heroine.

    25. Great readingThis was a good read, the story something like a old fairy tale, but with modern-day settings and characters. I am giving this book a full five-star rating. I will watch for more by this author

    26. What A Way To GoExcellent storyline, well developed and smoothly written. The characters were well developed and written. Extremely entertaining and fun. I liked the character development with the idea of talk to each other, never assume!
