    1. This is my first experience of the work of Canadian Jones's work, and I liked it. It's an alternative world, featuring two hobos, a pigeon and a elephant, who are accused of murder. A sort of alternative crime graphic story ensues, with some cartoonish weirdness. A satire on modern life, greed, with surreal touches. At one point communication seems to actually devolve to single exchanged words, and then to gibberish. Pretty funny stuff.

    2. The descriptive blurb up there sums it up pretty well, so I won't dwell on the plot. The drawing style and dialogue keep things excruciatingly upbeat even though the book is essentially about framing two hobos and murdering them. There's a warped humor throughout, punctuated by the mostly one-word graffiti tags covering walls and fliers in the background and much of the dialogue being made up of one word exclamations that devolve into nonsense.
