    1. This book irritates me because it is close to being a great book but falls short.Everything that is here is very good but truncated. For example, there is a point where Rory freaks out but it is really not explored, processed, or integrated. The heroine is reckless with her health and this is a key and compelling element of the story but we don't get to see her growing and changing. The book just ends. Rory makes a big personal change and again we barely get a taste of his new life. The love sto [...]

    2. This is the second book in C.D. Brennan's Play On series about a rugby team in Michigan. I love these guys and feel like the rugby backdrop is wonderful for romance since many players tend to originate in the UK. So, Scots are my weakness, and Rory is no exception. He is the strong, silent type, which makes him the perfect hero for the spunky heroine. My only issue with this book is that I was constantly concerned for the heroine with her health issues (diabetes), and with good reason. Sometimes [...]

    3. I truly enjoyed this second installment in the Play On Series. I've been eagerly anticipating the new book and was not disappointed. Rory is a Scots in Michigan, trying to make a name for himself in the world of rugby. The only problem is, he isn't doing it for himself as much as for his father. Grace is a Texas spitfire who is trying hard to take control of her life. She has a medical condition she is struggling to manage along with managing her attraction to the shy Scots athlete who is sudden [...]

    4. Rory lives and breathes rugby and is avoiding what makes him happy. Grace travels half the country just to get cold and avoid deadweight she harbors. At a chance meeting Rory isSmitten by her charm. This is a really lovely story, a nice balance with the friends and the couple. This is an honest review for a copy I was given. This is my first time reading this author. this story was well written, it was all so fresh and down-to-earth but yet powerful. I can't wait to start reading the other books [...]

    5. If you’re a rugby fan, you’ll feel right at home reading this romance, which features Rory, a rugby player from Scotland, who volunteers to start a women’s rugby team. If you’re like me—unfamiliar with the sport—you’ll learn a thing or two about it. What I love about this book is its unabashed feminism. The “pint-sized” heroine, Grace, has diabetes but she plays rugby. She and her teammates don’t just watch the guys from the sidelines, they get to enjoy the rough-and-tumble s [...]

    6. This is my second rugby romance by Cd Brennan. It's a wonderful story of two injured people who come together and discover the truth not only about themselves but what love really means. I can't wait for the next one!
