    1. There is a high likelihood, however it might break my own rules (Eta: That I don't judge an author, good or bad, based off of just one book), that if I had read this book first, I would never have read another book by Robin Alexander. Which would be very unfortunate as I've mostly loved everything by her (which is why I have that 'don't judge based on one book' rule). But this book? Good grief. The only reason this book didn't [eta: initially] get a 1 star rating was the bits of humor scattered [...]

    2. Fun island shennanigansI found this early R A work fun to read, but I can see how in the following years she honed her craft to write stories with more sucessful wit and amusement. Still I did really enjoy it and I have already purchased the next in the series.

    3. This book was amazingI loved every bit of this book Robin never disappoints me. She always has a colorful cast of characters who enter act wonderfully. This book is funny and full of excitement. I'm looking forward to book 2.

    4. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. The story just didn't grab me, despite an interesting premise. Grammar and punctuation errors are what finally sealed it though. Every page had at least one, and most had a lot more. I just couldn't keep punishing myself like that I'm glad I read other books of hers before this one. If this had been my introduction to the author I doubt I would have given her a second glance. Her more recent books are so much more polished and very enjoyable to rea [...]

    5. Dismissing the few grammar errors and the many punctuation flaws, this book was very entertaining. For the most part, the story is very simple: lots of fluffy romance between two beautiful gals. The crime mystery attempt put me off, but the scenery and characters were lovely. I found myself chuckling a lot, and even laughing out loud more than once. For the rest of the story, I just grinned. In technical terms, Gloria's Inn failed, but if you are looking to feel good reading a lighthearted story [...]

    6. Quick, easy and funny read sans forced drama for a change. I definitely got a kick out of it. The narrative is 1st person(POV), which is a big fat plus in my book. It's somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. Definitely closer to 4 though.

    7. Fun, easy read. Something about it made me feel like I had already read it. So I guess it's similar to another story out there.

    8. Wish I were thereLoved Cat island. Wish I could go there to live. Hayden and Addrieanne two of my favorite names. Love their story and am looking forward to the next book.
