    1. I can really see why some readers would love this story, and it had its moments, but most of it just didn’t work for me. There was a lot of overwrought melodrama, with characterization of the main characters provided by repeating the same buzzwords over and over: She has a shameful secret, he has a shameful secret, she wants control, control, control, he wants to be the man he should be. And as if often the case with books which obsessively focus on shameful secrets, the final reveals are pret [...]

    2. Not the book for me. I had trouble finding this storyline romantic. In earlier parts of the book Alessandro, his business associate and Paolo all come across as extremely creepy. I understand Meghan had a difficult and horrible past with men, but she also seems to think much too lowly of herself. Themes are repeated throughout the book, with lots of drama and both characters thinking they have very shameful secrets.

The beautiful waitress intrigues Alessandro di Agnio, especially when she accuses him of mistaking her for a whore. He convinces her that his intentions are pure and that it is on [...]

    4. very intense emotions involved here. i was going to give 4 star but then it lost one star because of too much drama. i mean they exaggerate in the emotions when what happened to them did not seem that awful to me.

    5. This was a good read one of the stongest so far. Two people who have lost their site of love come together to find love again.
