    1. K.C. Wells

K.C Wells started writing in 2012, although the idea of writing a novel had been in her head since she was a child But after reading that first gay romance in 2009, she was hooked. She now writes full time, and the line of men in her head, clamouring to tell their story, is getting longer and longer If the frequent visits by plot bunnies are anything to go by, that s not about to change anytime soon.K.C loves to hear from readers E mail k.c.wells btinternet Facebook facebook KCWellsWorld Twitter K_C_Wells Website kcwellsworld

    1. **4.5 stars**Technically, you can read this as a standalone, but I strongly recommend against it. First, you 'll be missing out on some pretty amazing stories, and second, you won't be able to get a feel of the dynamics and chemistry between the characters. If you 're one of those readers who avoid sequels because they don't want their favorite heroes' HEA messed up, fear not! There is heartbreak and angst in Personal Challenges, but the couples are solid and more in love than ever. If anything, [...]

    2. I enjoyed elements to this book but it felt a little disjointed for me. Having a focus on the three couples, all with their issues and then loads of sex felt like it was hard to really connect. Maybe it was just me, I know these characters adore each other but this was all over the place for me.

    3. Well that just left me a mess of happy tears at the ending and sad thoughts that my time with the Personal men has come to an end. Ed and Colin's story was the very first K.C. Wells book I ever read and not realizing it was a series when I did, I quickly rectified that oversight. So these couples have a special place in my heart. What a great job she did, bringing them all together in this book but with each couple facing different, and personal, life challenges. There are births and weddings, j [...]

    4. Personal Challenges is a pure comfort read. I read and liked the first three books in this series, so it was nice to see all three couples again. However, I think this book could work as a standalone for readers who enjoy established couple stories.Blake and Will welcome baby number two into their family. Their son Nathan isn't as communicative as their daughter was, and they worry something is wrong.Angelo and Rick are eager to get married, but Angelo's Italian mama has taken over as zealous we [...]

    5. I have to start off by saying that we haven't read a lot of books in this gene but so far out of the authors I have read Ms Wells is one of my favorites. This author creates amazing characters that you just can't help but fall in love with. This was a very enjoyable read with yet again an cast of amazing characters. In this story the author caught up on all the lives of her current characters in the here and now.I loved that part.Blake and Will .I loved hearing what was going on in their lives with [...]

    6. With three couples as the focus of the series, and each couple “starring” in their own book, I did not expect book four – but was ecstatic when it did arrive. These six men, and in some cases their children, really grew on me, and to see them all return for a fourth novel, sharing the limelight this time, was a great surprise. As expected, none of them have an easy time of it, but sharing their problems and working together makes it all manageable. They experience lots of suspense, action, [...]

    7. When K.C. Wells offered me this book for review, I asked her if it could be read as a standalone, since I hadn't read the first three books in this series. She said I'd be fine, and after reading this, I completely agree.I had no problems whatsoever in following along or figuring out who's who. The other three books are now on my TBR, and I'll get to reading them just as soon as I can, because I want to see how these three couples got to where they are in this book. We have Will and Blake, who w [...]

    8. These characters feel pretty much like friendsI've followed this series since KC started writing it in 2013, and I'll be really sorry to see them go, but onwards and upwards as we say. There will always be more characters coming along that will be added to my fave couples bookshelf, but KC is definitely aware of my favourite twosome, hehe. This particular story, which is absolutely chock-full of love and tears happy and sad, focuses on the main characters from each of the 3 stories in this series [...]

    9. Ohhhh a book about all the previous characters!!There's a lot going on here.First we have Will and Blake. Still madly in love and happily bringing up their two kids. After noticing a few things about their youngest Nathan, Will and Blake face struggles as they come to terms with a different life to what they imagined.Next we have Ed and Col. Both extremely in love and living their happily ever after Col gets bad news from an old friend. He tries to deal on his own but Ed won't let that happen. H [...]

    10. I received an advance copy to read and review so.This is the last book in the Personal series that started with Will and Blake, continued with Rick and Angelo and finally Ed and Colin. We catch up with all three couples in this book as Rick and Angelo plan their wedding, Will and Blake welcome a new family member and Ed and Colin deal with things from Colin's past. The three storylines were wonderfully entwined here, each chapter carrying the story along without overpowering the others - it reall [...]

    11. Three - that's how many times I had to reach for the tissues when reading this beautiful book which is full of joy and also sadness, but ultimately ends with such love it makes your heart sing.Ed and Colin are still my favourite couple but both Blake and Will and Angelo and Rick run them a close race as we move 10 years into the future to see where life's journey has taken this group of friends. It could read as a stand-alone but you'd be missing out on the three wonderful stories before it, watc [...]

    12. This was an excellent end to the series. It explores each couple from the series and gives us a taste of their happiness as well as their struggles. They are all more in love than ever but life isn't perfect and this book explorers reactions to trouble and heartbreak. The book has some really great lessons about love, life, and friendship and the dynamic between all couples is showcased here. Really good way to end it all, but If I'm being honest I could use some more Colin and Ed. They will for [...]

    13. 4 starsI love the way KC writes! This was a great ending to this wonderful series! This book focuses on all three couples from the previous books in the series ( Will & Blake, Rick & Angelo, and Rick & Colin). This book made me feel a wide range of emotions; anger, sadness, pain, excitement, happiness, anxiety, gratitude, hopefulness, and everything in between. ***POV third personStandalone or series 4th in the Personal series NOT recommended as a standaloneDid it give me a hangover [...]

    14. It is said, if you pick a direction and keep walking in a straight line your journey would end at the same point where it began. This, scholars offer as practical proof the world is round or as my grandmother liked to say, all things go full circle. Well, K. C. Wells and my grandma must have the same philosophy because this is exactly the experience of reading Personal Challenges. She brings the men of the Personal series full circle in the final book, Personal Challenges. In Making It Personal, [...]

    15. It's been nearly a year-and-a-half since I read KC Wells' Personal series so I was a little unsure if I would be able to get into the lives the characters without doing a re-read, which unfortunately I really didn't have the time to spare right now to do so. Well, I worried needlessly, the boys were like seeing old friends after a long absence, everything just falls into place the minute you see each other again. I will say that I think I just might add these boys to my summer re-read list.Previ [...]

    16. Personal Challenges is a book 4 in the Personal series. I have to admit I picked this up for a blog tour and had no idea it was a book four. Having said that I realized after already reading that it was a series that needed reading in order.Already vested in the book and interested in the story I soldiered on. I am so glad I did. I admit I had no idea who the three couples were, how they met or what they looked like, but the story was intriguing enough to make me persist. It is no one's fault bu [...]

    17. This is the fourth book in the Personal series and what an amazing, wonderful book it is.We meet up again with the couples Blake and Will (Making it Personal), Rick and Angelo (Personal Changes), Colin and Ed (Personal Secrets), situated a few years later. This book follows the three couples toward the upcoming wedding of Rick and Angelo. KC has written all three couples their own story leading up to the celebration, but she has blended them together beautifully. As always the story is full of fu [...]

    18. Well hell This is it. The final book in this series and I almost didn't want to read it because I didn't want it to be over. I always have mixed emotions about the end of a series What if I don't like how the author wraps it up? What if the ending kills the series for me and I'll never be able to go back and enjoy it again? (I'm looking at you Anne Bishop)I worried for nothing in this case. Each couple has been together for a long time now. And in this book they have their own struggles that show [...]

    19. 4.5 / 5 StarsHave you ever wondered what happens after the HFA? Well, you get the answer to that with this book. The book shows our favorite characters (Ed and Collin, Angelo and Rick, Will and Blake), which seem to have an almost idyllic relationship by now. Not everything is perfect, though. Each couple will go through rough times that they will need to overcome. The loving support these guys show as partners and friends is outstanding, makes you wish to have someone like that in your life.It h [...]

    20. Personal Challenges by K.C. Wells is the (for now) last book in The Personal Series. This book can be read as a stand-alone, but I recommend to read the other books first. There is a great boxed set that contains all other books in this series. Will and Blake welcome their babyboy Nathan into the world. Their family could be perfect. Sophie is a adorable little girl and both are so in love with each other. Rick and Angelo are trying to organize a wedding, but family has other ideas. And Colin gets [...]

    21. It was so great to meet Will and Blake, Rick and Angelo, and Ed and Colin again. I loved this book. Didn't want it to end.Great read.

    22. I loved this book. The author gave each couple a well fought HEA. Lots of ups and downs along the way. Well done to the author for giving us a beautiful ending to a great series.

    23. Seeing it thtoughWhat a really beautiful book, seeing each couple's story from being to end and the way they delt with each problem Joan from Stockport

    24. Wow, there is so much going on in this one. I dunno where to start!First, I guess this one is said that it can be read as a standalone, but I wouldn’t recommend it. While I really struggled to get through books one and two, I was blown away by book 3 and the novella’s, AND Ed and Colin. First things first, though… We have Will, Blake and their little Sophie… Everyone is perfect and happy and together when they decide they want another addition to their family. And they get one… not eve [...]

    25. This is book four by K.C. Wells in the Personal series and sadly this is the end. This book was epic and I loved every moment of it. This book was an emotional book at points and was well written. The pacing and writing are great. KC Wells did an outstanding job with this one. This book is in the future and I am so pleased that I got to read it. It was an amazing journey and am sad to see that it is over. This book is a glimpse into the lives of these three couples and how they are doing. Each c [...]
