    1. a little conflicted as I write this review. For Malachi alone it deserves five stars, but I would have liked to see more growth and development within Maria. Throughout the entire story she's portrayed as this young girl who gave up everything for her family, and we don't see her stand up for herself until the end. After that, it's the end. I don't know. Maybe it's the author in me wanting to have seen more closure with Maria. Maybe her starting a small sewing business or going back to school. W [...]

    2. Breathe Again!I loved this book! Love stories make you feel a certain way. Maria Rose Brown had experienced some hurt and it locked her in a place she thought was normal. Enters a young man who adored her and was focused on loving her-Malachi Levi Douglass but she was afraid at first. So much pinned up emotions kept her bound but when she choose to forgive and release that anger boy what was waiting on her. The story was so realistic that I could relate to Maria's character. She came from a smal [...]

    3. Love HealsShe has done it again. I found myself as Maria and Malachi's biggest cheerleader, as they battled every obstacle thrown in their path. Only the love of God can trigger forgiveness for heartaches like the one Maria endured. Only the love of a good man can help a broken woman find her way to happiness again. And the love of both can set you on a path of healing. As always, Ms. Thompson tackles tough issues with characters you easily become endeared to. I found myself at times envying Mari [...]

    4. Hands Down Totally Awesome This book right here kept me from beginning to end. I could've finished it in one sitting it was just that good. Maria's character was well developed as was Malachi's. I kept that this book wouldn't make me cry but doggone it , it did-had me balling like a baby. This storyline was also very well developed. It speaks to a situation that some children find themselves in. I especially loved that the hero was man of God and he helped the heroine in her walk. This is defini [...]

    5. I liked this book and wanted to give it a higher rating but there were a few things that were missing for me. I would have liked to see more growth from Maria. It seemed like she basically stayed the same throughout the whole book though she did stand up for herself in the end. Even then, it felt a little forced. Malachi was her driving force behind that and even though he was a wonderful man, I needed Maria to do more for herself, by herself. What does she want? What about her sewing business? [...]

    6. GoodAt first I was like I'm not go like this. It was moving a little slow. It picked up. This is my first book by this author. It felt a little rushed. It is a short read. I felt some things could have been added and described more. I lived Malachi. Maria made me mad at her at times. What was the problem with Felt? All in all it was a good read. I would like to see an update on this couple in another book.

    7. Breathe AgainAdrienne, you've done it again. Finished the book in 1&1/2 days. Can relate to how Maria's brother acted thinking she was to care for their father since she was single. Was surprised to learn she had become pregnant and had an abortion. Happy she "woke" up and realized she needed to live her life and get what God wanted her to have. Will there be a series to this one?

    8. Great bookThis is my first book by this author. I loved it. This is truly a story about how God will bring you through if you just believe and trust him. I could feel the pain, rejection, depression, and love in this book. What a wonderful love story. I will be reading more of your books.

    9. Awesome job!!! Maria put her dreams on hold to take care of her dad after her mom walked away. Maria was so hurt and so angry about her mom leaving. Maria stayed in the small town, worked and took care of her dad and went to church. Until one day at church she introduces a guest speaker. After that her life changes.

    10. Amazing read!Had to force myself to stop reading, couldn't put it down at work. Ms. Thompson reminds us of what God will do! It was easy to relate to Maria. I could truly see myself in her, I was that girl who took care of the family. Hats off to Adrienne Thompson what an awesome job. Can't wait to read the next book!

    11. Lawd hammercy!! Maria! Come on sis! Make a comeback! Nothing like living a life you weren't meant to live. I love this story. I'm telling you, when God gets ready to free you, He will free you. Justake sure you do your part. This is a must read! I. Don't. Like. Felton. #boybye Bless the Pastor, Lord. He needs it.

    12. Very nice book! It was a great weekend read for me! I enjoyed the love Malachi has for Maria. I understood where Maria's low self worth came from but at times seemed too much when she was dealing with Malachi. In the end, he saw her for who she was flaws and all and still loved her for her, something rare in life!

    13. RefreshingI stayed up all night to finish this book, Adrienne pulled me into this story because each character felt real to me. Thank you Adrienne for waking me from my dry spell of reading, and for bringing me back to wanting to read again.

    14. BreatheThis was a different story for me. In a good way. Maria had been stuck in a miserable routine for far too long! Malachi was a fresh of fresh air. Loved that he was humble and focused on showing Maria that he was different. Glad the family found their way

    15. Very sweetIt was a very sweet story. I'm glad Maria was able to heal and forgive so she could move forward with her life. By the end of the book I couldn't stand her brother what a jerk.

    16. ExhaleExhale is what Love finally enables Maria to do once she learns to see clearly and forgive her parents. Msg Thompson does an excellent job of describing a plethora of emotions.

    17. It was a good book. Loved Malachi. However, Maria kind of got on my nerves. Couldn't leave the little town because of what others thought about her. Bump that. Willing to let the love of her life go for that town. Unrealistic to me.

    18. Nice read!I enjoyed the the characters. Especially Maria, she reminds me of me. How she held on to hurt for so long. How she was miserable for so long that she became comfortable in that misery. It gave me some perspective on the way I deal with situations.

    19. I enjoyed Breathe Again. Throughout the book, I was worried that Maria would not do what was best for her and that she would not follow her heart. In the end, it all worked out. I definitely recommend this book.

    20. Another great read :)Once again I was taken into the story as if I was in Arkansas and Dallas. I felt the emotions of the characters -smiled when they smiled, laughed, felt their pain. Another great read from Adrienne Thompson!

    21. Excellent readExcellent read, I loved the characters and storyline. Adrienne Thompson stories are always unique and thoughtful. Malachi and Maria are great together. I recommend this book.

    22. Pleasant surprise I enjoyed this quick read. It was heavy at times, but it made me think. I need to LIVE! I need to breathe Again for me.

    23. I want more!!!!Being that I didn’t have a close relationship with my mom, by the time I got to the end of this, I was in tears. It was a great, heartfelt, read!

    24. Breathe!!!!Loved it. This book is filled with small town charm and some good stuff. You will have to read it to know what I mean. Can we have a part 2??? Loved it!

    25. AWESOME!I enjoyed reading thus book. Its the first novel by this author that I have read. The plot was plausible and reflected current social issues.

    26. CuteThis is my first read of this author. A very cute and well written feel good story about letting go of the past so you can receive your blessings. Loved Malachi. Good read.

    27. MY fist bookThis the first book I've read of thi author but certainly won't be my last. A great story of true love and forgiveness.
