    1. When I first heard of this book I knew I wanted to read it, it has a great cover and it just sounded so fun. Once it released I bought my copy and dived in soon afterward. Magic of the Void was a fun read. Once I started I wanted to keep reading and while I had a bunch of small issues with this book as well, for the most part I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next book. It had an addictive feel and plot was well written and well paced.Magic of the Void follows the story of Sagely [...]

    2. That was painful. I don't even know where to begin. Get ready for my ranting.Let's start with the Plot. On her way back from the park, some random truck run Sagely off the road. Like that wasn't bad enough, the driver of the truck then proceeded to beat the shit out of Sagely and tried to slit her throat. Sagely was saved by a stranger who healed her wounds with magic. But in result some of his magic transferred itself to Sagely. There are several things wrong here. First of all, Sagely did not [...]

    3. This was a story that, sadly, didn't live up to the intriguing blurb. First off, the double spacing means more pages, but fewer words than expected for the page count--so this is a fast read. I never really grew to like the charaters. I found Quill somewhat weak for all his purported strength in magic, and Sagely came across as rude in her efforts to maintain her autonomy. I didn't like the faeries (or Fox) and there was a lack of character development for any of the secondary characters. I also [...]

    4. i would have liked it if wasn't for the characters esp the main heroine. it was unusual for me to not back up unconventional characters or anti-heroes/anti-heroines but this one just didn't do it for me. now, i guessed the author was trying for the badass or bleeding heart type but sagely just came off as someone selfish and bothersome. the rest of the characters are questionable as in 'what do i have to do with you'The story is not yet in the stage where one could definitely say whether it's go [...]

    5. Dnf @ 73%. It's not the worst book I've read, I made it more than 50% after all. It just feels as if the author has a lot to work on when it comes to, well everything regarding characters and character interactions. Like the roommate and good friend Annie that we don't see and hear from past chapter 1. The main character, Sagely, doesn't give her a single thought which is pretty weird for someone so adamant about saying goodbye and honoring her old life and friends.I didn't feel any chemistry be [...]

    6. A normal afternoon at the beach, playing frisbee with her roommate, a chance collision with a gorgeous jogger; Sagely couldn't know that her life was about to change forever. She's deliberately run off the road on her way home, and then attacked and left for dead. The gorgeous jogger, Quill, saves her with magic, transferring some of his magic into her. When she awakens, she finds herself in a coven surrounded by a world of magic that she never knew existed. There's plenty of positives here. She [...]

    7. A hot messSagely is human, and the tiny bit of world building that we get indicates that humans have zero knowledge of magic so why does it take under 24 hours for her to just accept and master parts of it? Why are the culture references from the 80's with language terms from the 2000's and no idea what year it is in the book? Why does Quill and the coven immediately expect Sagely to know the rules of magic and witches on day one? Why do all of the interactions between Quill and Sagely sound lik [...]

    8. Firstly, I love the cover and the synopsis intrigued me so I wanted to read this novel. This is the first Reverse Harem genre book that I have read and won't be the last. The world building descriptions and settings are well detailed. A paranormal romance brimming with danger, magic, suspense, plot twists & a bit of romance. Sagely, Quill's, & Fox's character's along with the supporting character's are well seasoned. Fae's, Shifters, Witches, & Warlocks, along with dark & void ma [...]

    9. Incredible book I almost never give a book five stars but this one was incredible, quite possibly the best witch story I've ever read.I really liked the authors take on magic and how she portrayed covens. My only complaint about the book, and it's actually not a big deal, is I wish there was more detail about the characters, how they came to be who and where they are. From reading other series from this author I'm sure there will be more details about them in the following books. There was an un [...]

    10. This book took me awhile to get into but once I did i was hooked. I liked the world building and most of the characters. ( sometimes quill could be annoying) Sagely was much more understanding and nice then I would have been in her shoes. ( I wouldn't have been so okay with my boyfriend hanging out with his ex in his bedroom no matter how much he claims to love me) Fox was a fun and kind of anti Quill character. Now I am excited to see who else ends up in her collective.

    11. Hmmm.I enjoyed the book but found the heroine hard to like, and a little selfish. I've met quite a few hard to like leading ladies but I always found something to love about them- their humour, backstory , some redeeming quality. But found the characters to be shadows of some of my fave PNR stories.

    12. Slow start, great endingI really enjoyed this book. Especially towards the end. It seemed like it was a little slow in the beginning but it eventually picked on up and was stellar finish

    13. .What can I say? Sagely rubbed me the wrong way. Her attitude left a lot to be desired. Her character was a complete turn off for me.

    14. This was an amazing book! This is an amazing beginning to Sagley's story. I can't wait to read what comes next, but really hate the wait until Jan.

    15. A fun, fast-paced fantasy romance with lots of action, some romance, and the beginning of a reverse harem. Loved Fox.
