    1. This is one of those small hallmark gift books filled with thoughts/quotes by Mister Rogers. I enjoyed reading it. He has some good advice and some nice things to think about. I am happy to pass this around/on to anyone who is interested.

    2. One of the strengths of this short, meditative book is that Mr. Rogers gives parents huge credit for trying to be better parents.

    3. I had really high hopes for this book, particularly the audio format. However, the audio format didn't support the 'collection of essays' approach. I had a hard time following the individual essays, and the narrator switches added confusion, rather than clarifying differences among essays and themes. Wise words for sure, but I believe they were better enjoyed through a visual - rather than audio - experience.

    4. I very much enjoyed the content of the book, I just didn't care at all for the style. It's a bit of a random collection of thoughts. Some pages only contain a few sentences. It would be good for a page a day or something, it just Dosent read fluidly as a normal book would

    5. This book was obviously written for parents, which is pretty clearly stated in its subtitle, but I read it because I work with parents and teens and thought I might be able to garner some useful thoughts from it. Mr. Rogers does have quite a way with children, but the book was written in a very kind of snippet-y way - not long, developed thoughts, but just little anecdotes about how to raise children.Although I'm not sure I'd recommend this book, or read it again, it did stimulate some interesti [...]

    6. I hope I don't seem like a grouch, but this book is really only for people that have children or are otherwise around children a lot. Perhaps that is obvious from the title, but I read and enjoyed the other two Mister Rogers books in this format, and that wasn't true in for them.As in the other two in this series, the quotes are presented almost as Zen koans. It makes for a very fast read. Rogers of course is Rogers and has plenty of insightful things to say. As someone without kids though, this [...]

    7. There are many ways, beyond just words, to say “I love you”, and Mister Rogers captured many of them in ways I hadn’t considered. This book is full of more snippets of wisdom from Mister Rogers. I would definitely recommend it to his many fans. It serves as a reminder that the world lost someone great when Fred Rogers passed away, but there are many ways to keep his spirit alive through simple acts of kindness. Short, but good read!

    8. Short review: This was on sale on over the weekend ($0.44). It is a short book. Fred Roger's wife edited it together from his articles and speeches. Each page has a couple sentances or a paragraph about parenting or children or something. He really does have a lot of good advice. But the price is back up to $10 and it is not worth that.Full review on my blog at bookwi/many-ways-to-say-i-l

    9. This was a very short and very sweet little book, written by the famous Mr. Rogers of television fame. It's a collection of quotes from letters that he wrote to parents over the course of his career. I didn't know this: Rogers had a degree in childhood psychology! His show, it turns out, was much deeper than your average children's program. I learned this in the foreword, written by his wife Joanne. This book is definitely worth picking up and reading if you're a parent!

    10. Fred Rodgers was such a brilliant man. I grew up watching him on Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. This book is full of wisdom, with thoughtful insights on every page. If you're a parent, I would recommend you read this book as well as anything else he's' ever written. You will be a better parent for it.

    11. A wonderful little book about raising kids. The book doesn't get preachy. It is just reminders of the things we should know about raising kids. Loved it and will probably read it again.

    12. Quick read, cute book about being a good parent. It makes me feel like I could do it. Each page has a paragraph or two about a different topic.

    13. Gosh this was great. So full of pithy little insights about children, and honestly, about humanity. I loved it.
