    1. I first read this book back in 1996 or so when it first came out (or was re-released, I'm not really sure) I was about 10 or so when I read it, and didn't understand a lot of what was in the book, but I kept it, because the story itself was good. When I was adding books to my library (on LT) I came across it again, and found that there were no reviews for it. Huh? It's a great book, at least to what I remember. So I cracked it open again, and remembered why (and understood so much more being olde [...]

    2. In Nancy Taylor Rosenberg's California Angel, she took a break from her legal thrillers to write this compelling spiritual literary fiction that's perfect to be read or re-read during this time of year. For Toy Johnson, she was a L.A. school teacher who couldn't help children in trouble. While her marriage to Stephen faltered, she'd been experiencing heart problems and had a dream about a boy in Kansas. Later she was arrested for his kidnapping, when she only dreamt about him. A mysterious cop n [...]

    3. Another great one done by Rosenberg. I am remembering as I re-read her books why I enjoyed her so much when I was younger. The writing is compelling and complex. I picked up so much more this time around then the first time, both times however a fantastic read. You will be surprised if you are a regular reader of Rosenberg because this one is a bit different from her usual reads, but no less good. It really is a enjoyable and compelling read. If you want a book to read from cover to cover this wo [...]

    4. If you like "feel good" books this will definitely be one for you. I've read a number of books by this author and this was different from any of those I've previously perused. It's not really my kind of book but it was well written, with likable characters and a good message overall.

    5. This is the book the got me reading again many moons ago, so just that fact makes it one of my favourites. I remember the basic story but it was like reading it again for the first time

    6. A totally different kind of book for Rosenberg. Tale starts very well but soon dissolves into mysticism and improbable situations, losing its' way.
