    1. This was MUCH cooler than the first volume! (Maybe it was just because I was so desperate for stress relief, though!) There was more action in this one, and the Kish drama is continuing. I must say, the guy's a creep, but I'm enjoying the whole situation with him more than I should.I love that Masaya seems more than just a background character in the manga, which he always did when I caught the anime. (Though I might not have watched enough, or consistently enough.) I like him a lot. I was waiti [...]

    2. +++ Yhä edelleen upeasti piirretty, kaikki tytöt on nyt yhdessä ja ympäristönsuojeluteema on tosi kiva. Ja Minton ihastus Zakuroa kohtaan!--- Kliseinen. Quiche!! Hyi yök - muistelin, että Quiche olis ollut yks mun lempparihahmoista silloin joskus nuorempana, mutta sehän on ihan järkyttävä creeperi, joka kohtelee Ichigoa todella seksistisesti!

    3. (I'm re-reading the series).I read these books as a kid, and I don't think I realized then just how much the series is about environmental studies and working to save the environment. I appreciate the message behind such a cute storyline. :)

    4. I absolutely love "Tokyo Mew Mew" or "Mew Mew Power", depending on where you are from. The storyline is so unique and after reading each book, or watching each episode, you are left wanting more. I'd definitely recommend reading "Tokyo Mew Mew" or if that is not your thing, watching the series on Youtube. <3

    5. Talk about a manga series that's just cutesy for the sake of being cutesy. There is absolutely nothing spectacular about this manga whatsoever. This has the same formula that started in Sailor Moon. A couple of girls has some cute outfits and use their unique powers to defeat the evil bad guys. While I never watched or read Sailor Moon I know that each of the girls represent a certain planet and each had their unique powers. Tokyo Mew Mew is no exception. But there are a few twists. Instead of ea [...]

    6. Tokyo Mew Mew Vol. 2 Summary: Ichigo was just another normal seventh grader - until she was involved in an odd incident in which her DNA was merged with the DNA of an almost extinct wildcat. Now, she's transformed into a crime-fight cat named Mew Mew and must find the rest of the Tokyo Mew Mew crew as soon as possible. However, that mission turns out to be much more difficult than she ever imagined! Vol. 2 contains chapters 5-9 OPINIONIchigo has encountered her first alien, Kish, while on a date [...]

    7. Ichigo, Lettuce, and Mint continue battling aliens while they search for the remaining two Mew Mews. Perfect for younger audiences and fans of series like Sailor Moon, this manga is cute without getting too dark (more on this below). Because this series is geared for young girls, it relies heavily on archetypes and cliches (magical girl, everyone's personalities match their animals, etc.). Unfortunately, this doesn't make for the most compelling story line. The art, however, is very pretty. The c [...]

    8. In this volume, Ichigo has found one out of five of her team members, Minte only problem is, Mint is a very popular girl and doesn't like Ichigo! Mint, who didn't know about the DNA transfer, refuses to believe that it happened and runs from her. Later, Mint's dog attacks her and Ichigo saves the day! Mint finds out that she really is a superhero by the mark on her back, yet she refuses to help Ichigo! Will Mint ever join the team? Or will she let Tokyo perish? I liked this book better than the [...]

    9. I read the first one in this series a few years ago as I'd bought it in Tokyo. This is a continuation of the same silly story. The Tokyo Mew Mews are a group of high school girls who have superpowers to fight the aliens who are coming to earth to destroy it through enviromental damage. Each girl is connected to an endangered species. And they have stupid battle cries such as ribbon! Strawberry check! It is very Japanese teenager girly. In this volume they find their fifth member, do a bit of fig [...]

    10. This series right away reminded me of a Sailor Moon type of manga. I loved it right away and was caught up in the adventures of the girls. I also loved the idea of each of them having a different animal that they were based on. The drawing style is amazing and the action scenes are authentic in design. This series shows strong willed girls placed in tough situations having to show themselves and everyone around them just what they are capable of. I’m looking forward to reading the series seque [...]

    11. YEAAAAHHHH! Kisshu!!! Everyone's favorite alien stalker! The best character (in my opinion) is finally introduced in this volume! The art seemed to be massively improved! So was the dialogue! (Thankfully it wasn't as cheesy as the first volume!)I flew through this volume due to the increase in action scenes and (of course) the introduction of Kisshu!

    12. I feel a little discombobulated, since I've been reading the books out of order. I probably ought to go back and reread the third one, which I started with, before continuing on with the fourth volume. I really liked this one, though.

    13. Now that we have to whole group, they should start kicking some major alien butt. I just find it a little boring when the fight scenes end so suddenly. They win so quickly, and oops the guy recognized Ichigo. That may not be good. Oh well, looks like she has got a whole new problem to fix.

    14. Ichigo is a super heroine fighting an evil force from space! And she has the cutest get-up with cat ears and tail and cat-like abilities to boot! Now Ichigo must find her four other teammates, also infused with the DNA of endangered species, just like her.

    15. Después de tantos años sin leer manga me ha llevado a mi adolescencia, era el único tomo que tenía sin leer y lo he disfrutado mucho. Sigo siendo fan de la ballena beluga ♥

    16. It was more fun than the first volume. (Of course, that's just because Pudding is in it!) Kish is fully introduced. He's a very funny character. As always, the cute drawings impresses me.

    17. I love this, it reminds me a bit of Sailor Moon so I highly suggest it for fans. I love how the series focuses on the environment

    18. "I won't forgive you for destroying the Sakura trees. Great I sound like Ichigo," favorite line. Does Masaya know Ichigo's idenity? Yes! But Ichigo is getting worried

    19. This is one of the first series I've read. It used to be my favorite, but I quickly grew out of it. Probably the fact that it was +10 years.

    20. I have not read the books but I did enjoy the show enormously and I think that shirogane-San and Ichigo should be together I hate ayo mana kun
