    1. This is well-written story for primary students about the Pilgrims, with more of an emphasis on the religious aspect of the Pilgrim story. This was a great read for my daughter, who is studying the Pilgrims in history. It firmed in her mind some crucial parts of the history, and helped give her some characterizations for some famous names, like William Bradford, that storybooks do not often linger over. And most importantly, it was an entertaining read for her (and me!) with well-written prose.
